Trust & Safety

The Registry only works if you can trust what's on it. Here's how Trichology.com keeps Registry records, reviews, and patient interactions safe.

Trichology.com is a private publisher — not a government agency or licensing board. Legal notice →

Review policy

  • Reviews must come from a real patient interaction — no third-party hearsay.
  • Personal attacks, identifying details about other patients, and medical advice are not allowed.
  • Specialists cannot remove negative reviews, but they can reply publicly and flag policy violations.
  • We never let a specialist or facility pay to hide or remove a legitimate review.

Moderation

Every review and every reported listing is reviewed by a human moderator within 2 business days. We use simple, written guidelines — not opaque algorithms — and we log every moderation decision in an internal audit log.

Repeat violators (fake reviews, harassment, impersonation) are banned and their content removed.

Reporting abuse

Anyone can report a listing, review, or message using the report button on the relevant page. You can also email us directly.

Legal removal requests

Copyright (DMCA), defamation, and other legal removal requests should be sent in writing to legal@trichologynetwork.com with the specific URL, the reason for removal, and your contact details. See our Terms of Service for the full process.
